Independent PEO Broker

Vyral is a PEO broker, not a PEO. Send one census. We shop your business across 40+ professional employer organizations and the open benefits market, put the offers side by side on the same pricing model, and tell you which one actually fits. Free to your business, always.

What a PEO broker does

A professional employer organization takes on payroll, benefits, workers compensation and HR compliance support under a co employment arrangement. There are hundreds of them, they price differently, and every one of them will tell you it is the right answer.

A PEO broker sits on the buyer's side of that table. We run the search, collect the proposals, normalize them so they can actually be compared, and give you a recommendation. If a PEO is not right for your business, we say so before you spend weeks on it.

How it works

1. One census, one submission

You send a single employee census and your current benefits summary. That is the entire ask. You do not fill out a separate data request for each provider, and you do not sit through five discovery calls that are really sales pitches.

2. We run the market

We take your census to the providers that fit your headcount, state footprint and industry risk class. We handle the back and forth with underwriting.

3. You get a normalized comparison

Every PEO bundles pricing differently. We restate each proposal on one model so you can compare administration, medical, workers compensation and state unemployment line by line, against what you pay today.

4. You decide, and we stay involved

Stay where you are, renegotiate, or switch. If you switch, we manage the implementation and we are still here at your next renewal.

PEO and the open market, compared together

A PEO is not automatically the right answer. For some companies a well structured group plan on the open market wins on cost, and for others the compliance and workers compensation side of a PEO is worth more than the premium difference.

Because Vyral works across both, the comparison includes the option of not using a PEO at all.

Who this is for

  • 20 to 500 employees. This is where the math on a PEO usually works.
  • A renewal in the next six months. The best time to shop is three to six months out, while you still have options.
  • Multi state teams, where compliance and unemployment insurance get complicated.
  • First time PEO buyers who want to know whether it is even the right move.
  • Companies already on a PEO who suspect the renewal is out of line and want it benchmarked.

Frequently asked questions

What is a PEO broker?

A PEO broker is an independent intermediary who shops professional employer organizations on an employer's behalf, compares the proposals on a single pricing model, and advises on which to choose. The broker works for the employer, not for any one provider.

What does it cost to use Vyral?

Nothing. Our service is free to your business, always.

How long does the process take?

Most comparisons come back within about a week of receiving a complete census. Implementation, if you switch, typically runs 30 to 60 days depending on your payroll cycle.

Do I have to switch PEOs?

No. A meaningful share of the work we do ends with a client staying where they are on better terms. You are not obligated to move.

How many PEOs do you compare?

We work with a network of more than 40 national and regional professional employer organizations, and we shortlist the ones that fit your size, states and industry rather than sending your census to all of them.

Is a PEO broker the same as a benefits broker?

They overlap. A traditional benefits broker places group health plans. A PEO broker evaluates the whole co employment package, which includes benefits but also payroll, workers compensation, unemployment insurance and HR compliance. Vyral does both, which is why the comparison can include open market options.

When should I start looking?

Three to six months before your renewal date. Once a renewal is issued, some providers will not quote you until the paperwork is settled, which is exactly when you most need alternatives.
